Carolina Ramos Mosena de Angeloni graduated in Medicine from the Universidade de Cuiabá (2008) and has a medical residency in Ophthalmology from the Instituto de Assistência Médica ao Servidor Público de São Paulo (IAMSPE). With a specialist title in Ophthalmology from the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology, her area of expertise emphasizes Cornea, External Ocular Diseases, and Ocular Plastic Surgery. She has additional training in these areas from UNIFESP and IAMSPE. She is the technical director of Oftalmoclin Clínica e Cirurgia de Olhos in Cáceres - MT.
With extensive academic experience, she serves as a professor of Medicine at the Universidade do Estado de Mato Grosso (UNEMAT) and is a supervisor of medical residencies in Ophthalmology at the Ophthalmology Center of Cáceres and at the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT). She develops research and extension projects, with studies on dry eye in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis and evaluation of the ocular surface in HIV-positive patients. In 2015, she received the InovaSUS award from the Pan American Health Organization.
